Keith Burchill

Keith turns strategy into a repeatable executable framework of shipped outcomes - governance-ready, capital-ready, audit-ready, and execution-tight.

Keith is the Strategic Finance, Legal & Execution Architect who turns complexity into momentum. His background fuses Big Four excellence, C-suite operating experience at industry leaders, and legal-tax-finance fluency - making him a rare & trustworthy guide for leaders navigating change, growth, capital or financing limitations or integrations, and industry leading governance. As a speaker or consulting adviser, Keith researches before he even meets you, questions deeply and with a high intellect and listens intently to formulate an appropriate brief, then equips boards, CEOs, and founders with the operating disciplines that ensure vision is optimised and turned into critical execution paths that are fundable, auditable and sensational.

What sets Keith apart is the convergence of three critical competencies:

1

Decades of CFO/Head of Tax/CEO leadership across ASX-listed, unlisted private and high-opportunity Founder led enterprises—where deal mode was ever-present and scrutiny from investor markets, shareholders, lenders, and regulators was the norm;

2

Dual credibility as a tax lawyer and chartered accountant, bringing evidence-led risk, compliance, and governance to every decision, every deal, every contractual or transactional relationship and every reportable result.

3

Founder-operator track record—he has funded and helped other founders get to market and run his own start-ups in innovative spaces where law and finance were essential tools for robust foundations, but he also honed business development, sales, customer experience and marketing skills. Across his 40-year career, Keith has performed so many roles in the start-up space that broadened his outlook and experience, and weathered downturns and recessions, shaping a pragmatic, no-spin approach to resilience and execution.

Keith bridges boardroom direction with operational execution trench work in all sizes of business. Apart from his clear, deep and highly respected ASX experience, he has road-showed new products, led investor and shareholder relations, and served as a board director in multiple start-ups, where liquidity and cost control were existential. This forged deep CFO capabilities in cost management, cash-flow monitoring, ratio analysis, scenario planning, financial forecasting, and resource allocation—translated into decision rules, cadences, and accountability leaders can deploy in their next reporting cycle. As co-founder of A&K with Anshu, Keith pairs financial clarity with leadership capability so organisations don’t just set strategy—they ship it in a repeatable, executable framework.

"I have known Keith for more than 30 years. Over that time Keith has grown to be a strategic thought leader, helping to write submissions for Property Council lobbying and also creating innovations like Mortgage Alternative. Keith is a great speaker having spoken at industry conferences for me and holds a strong presence in meetings.

On the technical front, Keith is particularly strong - employed as the first Head of Tax by industry leader Westfield, his ability to build tax risk management systems and processes from scratch. Keith is approachable and has the unique trait of being a leader while having unparalleled technical skills.
